      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at TikTok (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

I applied online and the recruiter reached out pretty efficiently. I got a really good idea of the role by speaking with the hiring manager, who had an honest approach that showed he was knowledgeable and kind. Overall I enjoyed the experience, but came to the realization that the role was not a good fit.

      Interview

I interviewed with Tiktok; the process took about 2-3 weeks; the recruiter was sweet. She said she was impressed with my resume since they were looking to expanding their operations in Mexico, and I have actually opened a market in LATAM, so I knew even the business acumen in LATAM. She pushed me to the Hiring Manager, and he seemed to like me said I was great, but then got pushed to two others; one was supposed to test my Spanish skills, I guess, then asked me some random questions such as what changes would you make coming into the role? I said I would have to come in and look at your Data and Pipeline to make those kinds of decisions. I would also need to see your Sales Process to see if they are working. Again, I felt like it was random things he was asking, then ask me if I was familiar with Digital Advertisement, which is not even on my resume. The other person seems like they knew more about Sales Ops, but I couldn't help but noticed that they all seemed like they were all over the place. At the end of the interview, they tell me, hey, the role has been moved to Mexico. Would you mind moving there? I'm here thinking, Woah, that's a curveball and a lot to ask of someone. One person even mentions they didn't even have a Manager for the longest. Eventually, I got a no that they went to someone else. I guess that person did want to move to Mexico, which I think was a good thing for me. I just wished they wouldn't have wasted my time. I think ultimately, they are focus on the clickbait and are all pressured.
