I interviewed for two different roles at two different points in time this year. Same theme: impersonal. The first role I did have a cheery recruiter but the next interviews, they were so cold. I did get to the final rounds and was disappointed that it took them WEEKS to get back to me. The next role I interviewed for, the recruiter was also cold, and then she scheduled two interviews for me. The first call was, drum roll, cold. I think halfway through I thought to myself “I don’t even want to do the next interview that’s scheduled.” With both of these experiences, they will drill into your answers yet when it’s time for them to answer questions they say generic things and don’t fully answer your questions. They also don’t give you any feedback at all. I’m sure the people I’ve experienced are intelligent people but they’re basically the face of the company/my first impression, and I’m pretty disappointed. You’d think a fun company like this would have more people excited to recruit and represent.
