Strange. Not an actual interview with back-and-forth dialogue, but felt more like I was being talked at about the role on a very macro level. There seemed to be a huge language barrier. I would encourage applicants to be cautious when interviewing with TikTok.
I did one interview with the recruiter and they asked me some basic questions. It seems like they were looking for somebody that can work in East Asia hours because you will have to work closely with the Chinese tam

I recently underwent the interview process for the Creator Partner Manager role at TikTok, and sadly, it was a profoundly disappointing experience. The multiple rounds of interviews were overly technical, leaving little room for assessing my suitability for managing creator partnerships. Each round felt rushed, with interviewers more focused on ticking off boxes than engaging in meaningful conversation. Also even at the end, coworkers were coming into the space to see if we were finished which was distracting. This hurried atmosphere deprived me of the opportunity to ask questions and demonstrate my full potential effectively.
Moreover, the lack of feedback post-interview was particularly disheartening. After investing time and effort into each stage, I expected some constructive criticism or insights into areas for improvement. However, none was forthcoming, leaving me feeling undervalued and unappreciated as a candidate. Overall, the interview process at TikTok for the Creator Partner Manager role was deeply flawed and failed to provide a fair and constructive assessment of candidates.
