I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2024
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me to schedule a phone screen. I booked via link provided. Recruiter was 15 minutes late and only gave me 15 minutes in which She explained about role and asked me 2 basic behavioral questions. At the end she mentioned you will hear back from us even if you don't get selected. Today I sent a follow up email and instead replying to my email. I received an automated email for rejection.
I felt like I was very well prepared for the initial interview but how can she judge someone in 15 minutes of call in which 10 mins she was explaining by herself.

Question 1
1. Describe situation when you had to deal with ambiguity?
All interviews were set up at night after 7pm and turned out they couldn't even match my current pay (which should be discussed from round 1). The available time for interviews was already a red flag that shows a bad work life balance to me.

Interview
Interview process was quick and easy. Started with a recruiter call. Then after that it was a zoom call with the team lead that I’d be working for, and one final call with his lead. Each call was pretty standard interview questions. Got an offer a few days after the final call
