First step was an online application through their careers site. After a few days, I received a call from HR to schedule a phone screening. The phone interview covered basic questions about availability, previous experience, and customer service scenarios.
I interviewed at The Home Depot (St. Catharines, ON)
Interview
Interview was very good and accomodating
Very smooth
I was quite new to the country at that time and they gave me an interview and job offer on the spot
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (San Ramon, CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
I applied online and was invited to an in-person interview at Store #6604. After traveling to the store, the interviewer immediately told me I was not being hired based on availability options I had already selected in my initial application. No actual interview took place. This was a complete waste of time and personal resources, as they had all the necessary information to disqualify me before scheduling the visit. Very poor planning and lack of respect for applicants time.
