I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Pilani) in Aug 2016
Interview
Calm and the interviewers were extremely helpful... The process consisted of written test.. the results of which were out in 3 days and then on campus interview included almost an hour long tech round + 15-20 min. hr round
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions on RC (Exclude Inductor also) circuits... mainly waveforms and bode plots... also basic op-amp based questions.. mainly they want you to write/calculate less and think more and draw waveforms... do as much as possible in time-domain... Avoid frequency domain analysis.. approach is important
fundamental circuit intuition, problem-solving skills, and deep understanding of device physics rather than just rote memorization of equations. You will be expected to think out loud, draw waveforms, and analyze small-signal
Online Assessment followed by 2 rounds of technical interviews. Online Assessment consisted of 3 parts - Analog, Digital and Aptitude. Analog part mostly consisted of questions from RC circuits, Opamps, MOS Circuits, Oscillators.
I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Bangalore Rural)
Interview
I am only having only one round of interview
Where they asked mostly about rc circuits. Op amp basics and mosfet questions.
The interview almost happened for 1 hour and it is a good experience
