Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interviewer showed the first generation tesla battery cooling system design and the second generation battery cooling designed and asked for a high level overview of why the new design gave better performance than the previous generation design
I was told the first round would be a project presentation and I had prepared my slides. But the manager did not want that. He had made a PowerPoint with questions and we started with that. The questions were mostly about beams (cantilever, simple supported) and material science mostly involving Aluminum and stainless steel. I think the interview was not very difficult but I could not answer all because I had not prepared well.

Question 1
1) cantilever beam with point load, which is the point of high stress.
2) If the same cantilever beam is made of Al or SS, how would the stress profile differ.
