Live coding implementation and scratchpad type questions. They definitely want to see you answer the questions and will guide you along to the best that they can. Every interviewer has a different style though, and some are more forgiving than others.

Technical/multiple Deep technical questions about previous work experience and theoretical subjects. Candidates need to be interviewed multiple times and perform. It's worth it to me because it makes you want to get better to work with the best and grow
