I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Chennai)
Interview
The interview process at TCS was smooth and well-organized. It started with an online aptitude test covering quantitative, logical reasoning, and basic programming. After clearing the test, I was invited for a virtual technical interview where I was asked about my final year project, basic programming concepts in C and Python, and simple problem-solving questions. It ended with a short HR round asking about relocation and availability. Overall, the panel was friendly, and the process was straightforward.

The TCS Interview Process
TCS employs a multi-round interview process to assess candidates comprehensively. My experience involved three distinct rounds:
Round 1: National Qualifier Test (NQT): This online test evaluates your basic aptitude, logical reasoning, and English language skills. Brush up on these areas using online resources and practice online aptitude tests to excel in this round.
Round 2: Technical Interview: This round delves deeper into your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Be prepared to answer questions related to your academic background, projects, and fundamental programming concepts (if applicable).
Round 3: HR & Managerial Round: This final round assesses your soft skills, communication abilities, and overall suitability for the role and company culture. Be prepared to showcase your teamwork abilities, willingness to learn, and passion for the IT industry.
