Some stores differ but most have one interview with a team lead of the area you’re applying and a second with the etl of that area. Getting a second is a good indication that you’ll probably be getting the job. Questions are standard what-ifs and how would you apply that here, type of things. A bit too serious for a retail job, honestly, but if you answer correctly you’re solid.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Target

Quick interview process, asked about interest in style overall as well as Target brands. Additionally, personal work ethic and morals i.e if you see merchandise being ruined by customer, "Do you leave it there/walk away or Assist the customer to help them find what they are looking for?"
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Middletown, NJ) in Dec 2019
Interview
Interview hired on the spot . It was an interview day so there were many people always there. I had a resume and dressed business casual (I was the only one). They took me very seriously because of my dress code and hired me right there. Clothes really show how professional you take yourself!
