The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Maryland City, MD) in Mar 2010
Interview
I applied online and was called the next day and told to finish the application at the Target Kiosk and scheduled my interview the next day. Did not know what to expect because after reading all these reviews, I thought I would not even pass the 1st interview. The staff were very friendly and after my 2nd interview with my supervisor I got the job. The questions are the same, test your personality and confidence. Just review the questions in this site they helped me alot to be prepared. Good luck.

Question 1
A situation where I had a bad experience with an employee.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target in Jun 2008
Interview
I applied in person by picking up a form from the store and then returned it once I completed it. If I remember correctly, I think I was asked for an interview immediately afterward, which completely caught me off guard. I agreed, not knowing what to think. I thought it was just going to be a couple easy questions, not the actual interview. I was wrong. I sat down in a back room, and the person fired away with questions. It was a lot of behavioral interview questions like “Tell me about a time when...” and since I was not prepared, the interview went horribly. I would recommend being prepared with several stories to demonstrate leadership and other desirable characteristics for the basic behavioral questions.
