Interview
I applied online instead of in person, as road conditions were extremely poor that day. The interview process was extremely generic; everything felt as if it had been scripted to the last word. The interviewer read questions off a sheet with little to no hint of acknowledging my presence. a big box interview for a big box store.

Interview
I heard about a new store opening and applied on-line. I received a phone call about 10 days later to come in for an interview. The on-line portion consisted of an application and a personality test. When i got to the interview I was instructed to take a brief test about ehtics and several "what would you do" situations.
when I finished I was told to wait in the snack bar area. Three other people were being interviewed there. I was interviewed by a Hispanic gentleman who could barely speak english, I had a very hard time understanding him and he finally just turned his paper upside down and had me read the questions myself. All of the questions were about giving examples of situations, how I resolved them and what the outcome was. He didn't write down the answers in his booklet, he wrote how he saw things and in several instances it was completly different from what I said. I waited a few minutes for my second interview, the second man asked alsmost texactly the same questions and when he was finished said we'll have to firgure out where best to place you and we'll be in touch. I wasn't asked for my reume, I wasn't asked about my former jobs or skills. Everything was read from their little booklets. Two out of the four of us got a second interview, the other two left after the first one. I was never called. I have over 20 years retail experience and excellent references. It was the strangest interview I've ever had.

Interview
Asked me to wait in shoes section of store for interview, waited 20 minutes past time they said it would take to be interviewed. Interview took place in a hallway with some chairs, there must be some better place to conduct an interview? Employees were walking through constantly, was not an empty hall. Besides that, pretty basic interview. Never got a response but I'm not sure if I would have accepted even if I did. Everyone there seemed pretty irate
