Target Assistant Manager interview questions

Applied online and then in person. I arrived early and waited about 30 minutes for someone to show up. After the initial interview with one manager another manager came in and asked about 3 simple questions.

Phone interview with store manager. Asked situational questions. "Tell me about a time..." Lasted about 30 minutes. I was referred by an employee of the corporate office. On the local level they wasted my time. After the phone screen, the manager was extremely complimentary and said they would call me in the future but apologized and said that there had never been any Management positions open at his store. Offered me a position an hour away and I declined.
