I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Fort Worth, TX) in Feb 2013
Interview
Met with store manager and district manager. I had the interviews back to back on the same day. I had to wait for the background check to get an offer. The time between the call to set up an interview and the offer was about two weeks.

What are your greatest strengths and opportunities?
How do you budget your time?
I had the prescreen — they mainly asked basic questions. One of them was about how I usually promote someone and the steps I take during that process. I explained how I evaluate performance, look for leadership traits, give stretch assignments, and provide coaching before recommending a promotion. It felt more like a general screening to understand my leadership style.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (East Haven, CT) in Sep 2024
Interview

Phone interview and then video interview was the whole process. They were very straight forward with questions. I originally applied for home goods and they were a little messier and confusing
