I applied online. I interviewed at Siemens in Jan 2014
Interview
Interview is moderate right from technical basics to advance. They asked all architect patterns and design pitfalls. Coding level details. Logical and reasoning questions. Most of the questions were on core java, SOA, puzzles and many more
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Siemens (Bengaluru) in Mar 2018
Interview
I got a call from HR setting up the interview. I was asked to prepare a 2 slide presentation mentioning:
1. Project Architecture
2. Challenges
3. Contributions etc
I was asked to be ready with a computer and join the call. Will have to share the screen and type some code etc if asked.
Interview happened, 3 guys joined from their side, nothing significant asked. No challenging questions asked. In the end I was asked my salary and then asked if I would consider joining for less. Obviously No. I don't even recall if the interviewer was a manager. He was not HR for sure. Based on few things he asked about my project he sounded like individual contributor. What business does an Individual Contributor has asking for a candidate's salary? Even if he had to ask, aren't these confidential? Would you ask in front of 2 other people? Then comes the standard statement, HR will get back to you.
I literally had to force the HR to tell me that they wouldn't be able to proceed. That's all. No feedback. No reasons given. As a candidate, when I invest in taking the call, preparing the PPT, it is my right to know the feedback.
It was highly unprofessional on Siemens HR's part to not share the feedback. Also the salary could have been asked upfront and checked if you can afford.
Total waste of time. Completely unorganized.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing challenging at all. Most difficult question was, would you consider joining for less?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Siemens (München, Bayern) in Nov 2016
Interview
The first interview was by phone call, High level questions ( what do you know about the company, did you worked with such technologies ? .... )
The second contact I was aked to deliver a peace of my work ( source code, diagram ,...) by email
The third interview was on site, the questions were about logic & mathematics, to solve on a white board
and at the end I was asked to write a java code " 100% correct" to solve a problem like : in this Question I asked if the numbers are distincts, they said yes, I wrote the code accordingly ( While loop ), but when i finished, they corrected the source code to replace "while" by "for" loop to support the duplicated elements !

Question 1
ex : if n -1 & n+1 are prime, n should be divisible by 6
in a array of n integer, write a code which will return all the couples for that the sum = 100.
