Interview
A recruiter from Siemens reached out to me for a leadership role, setting up a video call. The recruiter seemed baffled by my departure from my previous company, despite my clear explanation that my position was eliminated due to industry-wide layoffs—a concept I had to reiterate a few times. The recruiter's disinterest in my expertise, despite initiating contact on LinkedIn, was palpable, lacking even the basic professional courtesy of providing a salary. The recruiter has completely ghosted me since.
