Got a shortlist email and the first screen round was scheduled with the recruiter. However, 15 min before the interview, I received a cancelation, without any reason. Despite my follow up, there was no reply from the recruiter. After repeated email follow ups over a week, I was asked to reschedule the interview. During the interview, the recruiter seemed uninterested, asking vague questions about my understanding of the role and fitment. I was also asked for my salary. I was told I would hear back on next steps in a week's time. There was an abrupt end to the call from her side and I was even unable to ask questions from my end. It's been 3 weeks and I've followed up many times, but there has not been a single email reply from the recruiter. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It felt very unprofessional, almost like a scam.
