I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceNow (San Diego, CA) in Jul 2018
Interview
Started with a phone screen, where the interviewer asked a variety of Object Oriented questions and a few Java questions. We chatted about the company a bit and what I was looking for in a position. The interviewer was the lead/manager of the team I'd be joining.
The on-site interview was about 3 hours long. It involved 3 groups of employees: the lead/manager of the team I'd be joining, 3 frontend React/Redux developers from the team I'd be joining, and 2 backend Java developers. Each segment was about 45 minutes long.
In the lead/manager interview, we continued our discussion from the phone and went more into specifics. We spoke about what the team was working on, what direction they were going in, and how the company worked.
In the frontend interview, I was asked basic questions about JavaScript (e.g. how does asynchronous processing work), CSS (e.g. specificity), and React/Redux at a high level.
In the backend interview, I was asked to describe all of the potential problems with a small function written in Java. There were about 5 problems to identify. I got a few, and then we had to chat for me to find more. I was given a good amount of hints for the ones I missed at first.
I received a callback within a day or two.

Interview
2 interviews, one with hiring manager and other one was coding interview. Online assessment no leetcode style coding, allowed to use LLM, cursor. do not know why companies still do coding interviews when LLMs are writing code for you
HR round only, recruiter went rogue. Recruiter never emailed me back even though it went quite well, seems maybe the role was filled already by the time. The least they could do was email me back why instead of going rogue
Process was a moderate, had call from recruiter then followed by technical interview with two people. Later had an interview with hiring manager . I was given coding assessment which was medium difficult
