I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SAIC in Mar 2024
Interview
Two rounds, very laid back. Remote calls with managers/team leaders, nothing very technical and no coding. Mostly about past work you've done, how you handle certain difficulties, and what you are looking for now.
I met in person to interview for the wood shop manager position. Talked 1:1 with the shop manager. It was chill but I was too nervous since it was my first job interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at SAIC (El Segundo, CA) in Apr 2025
Interview
Two interviews. First contacted by HR to do an in-person interview with manager and program administrator. That was brief, ~30min just asking simple clarifying questions about resume and explaining the role and company. Next and final interview was in-person as well, but going more into depth on resume bulletpoints. No technical questions, just purely resume based on explaining stuff like how, why, etc.. Interview was conducted by SAIC Technical Lead accompanied by the manager. ~45-1hr.
