I applied online. I interviewed at Ramboll (Birmingham, England) in Nov 2022
Interview
The assessment centre involved 3 parts. Group activity, interview and test. The test was short and pretty basic - load takedown diagram, orthographic drawing and bending moment diagrams. The ground activity involved 45 minutes of conceptual design and a 5-minute presentation. The interview was informal and they were very friendly.

The interview consisted of a 45 minute discussion, comprising the usual questions such as why study engineering, where do you see yourself in 5 years time, any particular interests. A short test completed the interview with questions consisting of drawing shear and bending moment diagrams and correctly identifying where sets of bracing should be placed or would work most effectively.

Interview
First got a skype interview where they asked why I am interested in Ramboll and in Civil Engineering, then prior to the call they asked me to think about my favourite building and we spoke about it. I got invited to assessment centre, we had group exercise, technical test, and an interview where we discussed the test and my interests
