I applied online. I interviewed at RBC in Jun 2026
Interview
The interview process was very smooth, just a 30 minute behavioral interview with some situational questions, not too hard. Said they would get back to me with my application status within a week, but I have not heard back after almost 2 weeks. Also sent a follow-up email thanking them for the opportunity and asking about my status with no response.

Question 1
You are working on an Interac e-Transfer feature, you built the Interac frontend page while others built the backend and the money transfer, and it was constantly showing an error after sending the money. How would you go about debugging?
2 Behavioral Interviews, no technical. Things went well and basic questions about SQL and career goals were discussed, did well as a young person in the role as this is an intern position.

Behavioural interview, and then a technical interview where two engineers talked to me and asked me about my projects (30 minutes total + 30 minutes behavioural). Overall easy and interviewers were really quite nice.
