I applied online. I interviewed at RBC (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2023
Interview
Two video interviews - first with the HR for initial screening and another with the hiring manager and tech lead. I received an offer the same day. While the interviews were pretty straightforward, it was how the offer was handled that made me reject it. The HR continues to convince you that it is the right choice for you and goes to the extent to say you wouldn't find a job elsewhere in this recession time. If they do not believe in my potential then they shouldn't offer me the position. But it is no way professional to pull down a candidate. The whole conversation was so negative and I have never felt better rejecting an offer. I will never apply for RBC again.
