      Banking Advisor Interview

      Nov 9, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Montreal, QC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RBC (Montreal, QC) in Nov 2017

      Interview

I was first sent a online test that took from 30 to 45 mins to complete. The test is not hard. It's a simulation of a call centre work. I was then contacted by e-mail for a phone/online interview. It's a webcam call. I was asked a couple of questions about myself, the company, the job position and my past experiences. The interview went well, the interviewer was friendly and made my stress quickly go away. The interview was half in french and half in english. At the end of the interview, she asked me if I was available for a group interview. The interview is tomorrow, i'll be posting about how it went later.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Talk to me about your biggest achievement. Why did you quit your last job? Talk to me about a time you went above and beyond for a client. Give me 3 qualities of yours that makes you a better employee for the job. Give me a flaw that you'd have to work on.

      Interview

Pretty good interview experience. Very nice managers. Referred to the job by an RBC employee, sent my resume and cover letter to the employee's work email, then was referred to the branch manager. About a week later, I received a call from the branch manager for the interview, so I was meeting with the two managers directly. Asked classic senario questions as below:
