First, you have to take an online assessment during the application and then you get scheduled for an in-person interview if they like your responses. The assessment was pretty lengthy and had a variety of customer service and situational questions, and the interview was pretty serious for the low level position I was taking.

They asked me hypotheticals about certain customer service scenarios and how I would respond to it.
Interview was very easy. They ask why you want to work at Publix and what you like about the Publix environment, don't overthink it and you'll land the job. They hire almost anyone.
Interview process at Publix was easy and quickly promoted to front office staff within 12 weeks. Not sure what it is currently like today, as with many companies, times have changed.
