I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Publix (Ocala, FL)
Interview
If you' re seeking an entry level position and you get called in for an interview you are almost guaranteed a position. I had my interview with the store manager and it lasted about 10 minutes. He asked very general questions about my experience with people and working as a team and at the end of the interview offered me a position. I was then issued an employee handbook and drug tested via mouth swab. A few days later I had my orientation which lasted I think a little more than four hours and they give you a half sub, chips, and a drink halfway through. About a week later I had training in my store which lasted about six to eight hours.

Question 1
All of the questions I was given were fairly simple and straight forward.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Publix (Winter Haven, FL) in Sep 2012
Interview
All my manager went into detail with me during my interview was how much I would get payed, my availability, details about my specific job position and he asked me how excited I was about working at Publix. I was surprised that there was not much to the interview and that he did not mind the fact that I was still in my school clothes either. Before that happened I had been applying at Publix ever since I was fifteen years old at one of those application kiosks. I always prayed and hoped that I would get a job and finally on September 22, 2012 I started working at Publix for my very first time.

Question 1
How does $7.75 sound to you? This caught me by surprise because I did not expect to be offered the job right then and there.
