I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Publix (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2013
Interview
This company is very careful to hire individuals that project and provide outstanding customer experiences. I found the interview process comfortable and quick. The initial drug screening takes a few days , but they do follow up with the applicants in a timely fashion.Initial trailing is better than most retailers out there.

Interview
I reside in Coral Springs, Florida. I am a 17 year old, African-Anerican female, I am a high school drop-out (due to illness and an inability to catch up), but am pursuing my GED. I applied in-store at a kiosk, on Tuesday. Got a call for an interview on Thursday. It was a more of a "tell me about yourself" interview. She also asked a lot about how I would respond to certain customer related situations. On Sunday, she called me and offered me the position. Monday, I went in for a drug test. Tuesday, she called and said I had passed and today, (Thursday, May 15th, 2014) I am going in to do paperwork with HR and then Saturday I have orientation from 9AM-4PM.
