Interview
This position from long term research group was posted in certain academic groups, not on PepsiCo website. Got a call from the HR (contractor?) to make an appointment for a phone technical interview. In her first ever call, she asked me if I could make it the next morning for the phone interview and when I said "I think it will be fine, let me look at my calendar", she said, "It better be fine"! Phone interview with the team leader went well. Then, he asked me to phone interview with other members of the team in TX. The HR asked me for the next day and I was supposed to be giving a talk somewhere. So, I offered to interview next week. Then, HR and the team leader never returned calls or e-mails. HR was very curt from the beginning and seemed to be uninterested in her job. It appeared like she didn't respect the candidate and responded only at the last minute giving very little time. This was a contract position. Overall, unprofessional experience. When you interview someone, you got to communicate well with them as a professional courtesy. We all understand that there are many potential able candidates. I imagined that it was probably the culture at this particular facility within the company.

Question 1
Usual general questions and technical questions on the subject. I was given a good picture of the work and the position after discussing my resume. Interview was professional and focused on the subject.
