I got a video interview request which had general HR questions and answers were required to be recorded. After that, I got a coding test which required 2 programming languages. Further, I got a screenshare call from MathWorks interviewer which was a 50 minute round.
I filled out the application online, and received an email about scheduling an HR phone interview within the same week. The interview was about 20 minutes, and there were no technical questions. The interviewer confirmed some details from my resume, like GPA, graduation date, work authorization, and when I would be able to start if offered a job. They also asked what I knew about the company and position.

Question 1
Describe (a project listed on my resume) briefly and in non-technical terms.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MathWorks (Medford, MA) in Oct 2017
Interview
Applied on their website after talking to them at my university's career fair. After a few days, they requested a phone interview with the recruiter, which was promptly scheduled. On the phone, I had a simple, candid conversation with her, nothing too technical. However, I heard back the following Monday and they said they were going to pursue other candidates. Maybe the next part of their interview process was going to be tougher, based on other interview reviews of this company.
