The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MathWorks
Interview
Got through initial HR interview. Next was a technical interview covering two programming languages with great depth (you really have to know the ins and outs) and a focus area of your choice. I chose C++, Python, and Embedded Systems. Very hard and the interviewer was hard to understand.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at MathWorks
Interview
First round is a one-way video interview where all basic behavioral questions are asked. These questions are pretty easy and not much preparation would be needed. Awaiting call from the next rounds.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MathWorks in Aug 2017
Interview
The first couple of interviews were a great experience and went nicely. We were mainly talking about my interests, my career vision, what I am looking for in a company etc. However, the third interview was a technical one and it was mainly focused on old knowledge which I had long forgotten due to my postgraduate studies. At the end they didn't take notice of whether the reviewers were fit for doing the interview or the fact that such trivial skills that faded by time could be resharpened quickly. The position felt like its fitting for BSC graduates.
