I applied to Mathworks for EDG new grad position online. The first round was an online behavioral round. Where you have to record your responses and send them. It was a pretty simple round.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why Mathworks? Tell us about a time when you were multitasking? What are you most proud of? Visa status?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MathWorks (Boston, MA) in Oct 2019
Interview
First was an introduction call from HR which went foe 20 mins, general questions about background, GPA, Visa status, etc. I got a Hackerrank link - two C++ coding questions, based on classes and strings. You can choose Java or Java script instead. Oops MCQs and math questions. Another section - matlab or python. After this I had a managerial round for 30 mins on call. Received an email to schedule 20 mins to talk about further process (on-site scheduling). Still in process.

Question 1
Basic oops, data structures, differentiation, DSP concepts like convolution, etc. You cal also choose oops/embedded/controls instead of dsp. C++ coding. Matlab/python concepts.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at MathWorks in Oct 2019
Interview
1st round interview record the general questions via Hirevue.
2nd round given Challenge B hackerrank questions, it is a coding marathon. Time is limited I didn't finish the coding session. Math problem are relatively easy.
3rd phone tech interview, also about cooooooooding, was asked to finish some lines of code, output of a chunk of code, some questions about garbage collection, data type and oop inherit, polymorphism. And oo design performed in hackerrank.
Got rejected in a day after 3rd round, the whole process is about 1 month and half. Feeling exhausted after too many coding challenges. Feel like they didn't filter out people without the expected experience in leetcode in 2nd homework.
