I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Marshalls (Gainesville, GA) in Nov 2012
Interview
They hired me on spot, they didn't do an interview at all. I had the job because my mother worked there and hey were told to hire me. It was very simple and I never got to experience it
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Marshalls (Danbury, CT) in Feb 2012
Interview
I sat down with the store manager 1 on 1. Very casual. She basically just wanted to get to know me and find out what kind of person I was. There were some technical questions about my experiences on my resume but mostly she asked about skills and abilities. I am used to interviews where there are multiple people around the table judging what you are saying so compared to that, this interview was super easy and just be yourself because they are looking for genuine people that are focused on customer satisfaction. If you have a story about how you provided excellent customer service in the past make sure you tell them. The manager had mentioned how it is the one thing that is hard to teach, you either have it or you don't.

What experience do you have in retail and what has it taught you about the business.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Marshalls (Round Rock, TX) in Oct 2014
Interview
I applied in person, had the interview two days later. I got a called back a few days later saying they wanted to start the hiring process. Pretty easy interview. I don't think they would even ask questions of they didn't have to. It was basically me and all of the managers sitting in a circle, conversing.
