I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Montreal, QC) in Oct 2019
Interview
The process was very smooth - I first had a phone interview with HR, then an in-person interview where I met a senior accountant, another accountant and the controller I would be reporting to. This was then followed by a video conference interview with HR. After the process was completed, I was asked to provide references from my previous employment.
The process was very straightforward and they kept me updated throughout the entire process and answered any questions I had on a timely basis.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Montreal, QC) in Jul 2019
Interview
The process was very quick. The phone interview with the hr was very smooth and easy going. The in-person interview was not easy going. The interviewers focused on my experiences making sure my experiences are at least 100% match with the job description I was interviewing for. When the interviewers were confused about some of my previous tasks because the wordings were similar, they believed I was contradicting myself. When I couldn't clearly remember an excel function that I used due to it was combined with another function, the interviewers believed I lied about my excel expertise. In other words, be prepared and remember all the little details before the interview (skills and experiences focused.
