I applied online. I interviewed at Lidl (Bourne, England) in May 2016
Interview
Applied online through the careers website. Took about 2 weeks to be invited for a telephone interview. Conducted telephone interview. Very straightforward, with typical interview questions. Still waiting for a reply nearly 2 weeks on. However I was told that I would hear back whether I was successful or unsuccessful so just hope I hear back soon.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lidl
Interview
I applied online through a job site and then recieved a telephone interview. I then has a store interview with the district manager. The telephone interview was fairly easy, i looked on glassdoor interviews and got most of the questions the asked off there so i would suggest you prepare. The question they liked from me is lidls history so go on the site and research it. Also make sure you know the daily activites because they ask that in the face to face interview. The interviewer was lovely, there were parts where i go a bit nervous and she helped me through it all. It was quite casual and she was very easy to speak to.
I firstly applied online to the store. Got an email a couple of days later asking me to do a phone interview. Had to phone up to book a slot, which was simple. Phone interview was booked for 2 days later. Woman on the phone was very calming and it was a pretty relaxed call. Simple questions if you've done your research on lidl and the job you're applying for. She told me there and then I'd passed the phone interview, and was asked to attend a group interview a week later. Attended this, around 6 people there. We was given a 10-15 minute presentation then asked one by one to interview. Simple questions again, very laid back, just about hours you can etc, why lidl. Few days later I got offered a job, firstly tho I've got to complete a training day first in there distribution centre. Simple process, just do your research on lidl.
