It was a campus recruitment drive. 45 students appeared in written test which consisted of an Aptitude test having 75 questions which were to be completed in one hour. Questions were simple. 21 students got selected for Interview round(there was no GD round). Out of 21, 16 appeared for interview. Finally 3 got selected. The interview was of half an hour per student. The panel was of 2 persons. The questions they asked were very basic. They asked about area of interest then focused their whole interview around those subjects. Not much attention was paid to the industrial training. Some questions were from project. Not much stress was given on HR part. I told Material Science and Thermodynamics as my favorite subjects. They asked very basic questions on Iron carbide diagram, mechanism involved in heat treatment processes, kelvin planck statement, refrigeration cycle, which law is applicable on IC engine and refrigerator, how carbon addition increases hardness of iron etc.
