I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (London, England) in Mar 2022
Interview
Very informative process throughout.
Interview consisted of 3 stages, Manager, Associate Partner and then Partner.
Manager (1st Interview): Common competency questions came up, tell me a time when you... explain your motivations for joining the company, best and worst traits etc.
Associate Partner (2nd Interview) - more technical questions about the trends in the industry, my motivations - commercial awareness is key here whilst also demonstrating you match the companies values.
Partner (Final Interview) - more technical questions about my current role and whether I'd be a good fit for the role - gave time for questions at the end.
All in all the process was super slick and informative, usually took 2-3 days to hear back from each interview. Received an offer the same week as my final interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Manager (1st Interview): Google 'most common interview competency questions' and study those in detail, very scripted interview. E.g... Give me a time when you faced a dilemma in the workforce / implemented a solution to improve efficiency. Also personal questions about my role, my motivations, my strengths and weaknesses. Heard back in 2 business days.
Associate Partner (2nd Interview) - Questions about the trends in the industry, my motivations - commercial awareness is key here whilst also demonstrating you match the companies values.
Partner (Final Interview) - more technical questions about my current role and whether I'd be a good fit for the role - gave time for questions at the end.
All in all the process was super slick and informative, usually took 2-3 days to hear back from each interview. The partners were very professional and went into a lot of depth on the questions you asked.
Received an offer the same week as my final interview.
Relaxed however prepare for technical scenario based questions. There are three stages the first being initial phone call with the HR recruiter, followed by two one hour interviews each that you must pass
Good interview. Need to explain technically about each project in cv. OVerall a good experience. Around 3 rounds of interview, HR, Technical and Partner interview. Technical round can get tricky as they ask technical question based on practical use-cases
For my 2nd round interview, the interviewer clearly wasn't bothered and answered the meeting on his selfie camera. Felt like he was in a rush to just get it over with and had made up his mind before the call had even begun. Bummer.
