I sent my resume to HR through linkedin and I received a call from them same day as it was immediate requirement. HR asked me my current CTC and expected CTC . I provided all details. I told very clearly during discussion that I will not considered any offer below this number ( lowest negotiable CTC).They agreed and confirmed .
Two rounds of interview happened.I will say it was good experience with technical interviewers.They are knowledgeable on data domain projects .I cleared both rounds.
After this they ask all details ( hike letter, bank statements) for background check.In HR round ,HR offered very low hike .. much much lower than acceptable industry standard.
My question is why waste time of candidates when you have already asked lowest negotiable CTC during initial screening and if you don't have budget to afford them.
