Short interview. Allegedly a hiring freeze in my vertical, so interview ended very quickly with circling back in months time. Overall disappointing but expected given current market. Not sure why they gave the interview so formally.

Interview
The interview process for an associate level research position at Jefferies was an overall fair process, consisting of multiple interviews (mostly behavioral, with some technical questions) and a 30-min technical assessment. The interviews were conducted by a wide range of appropriate interviewers, from the position supervisor, the manager of associates, potential team members, and even the director of research (very cool considering it was for an associate position).
