I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Infineon Technologies (Villach) in Oct 2014
Interview
The process starts with a short phone call in which you describe your past experience and your expectations of the position you're applying. It will maximum take 30 minutes and based on this and your credentials, the manager of the position will decide whether to invite you on-site. If so, they'll fly you to the location for a couple of days, and you'll have a round of interviews and relocation consultance.
The technical interview takes around 2 hours, and of course it depends on what position and level you're applying. For entry level, you'll get asked the typical questions, nothing surprising. They interviewers most probably will pick a project you've worked in in the past and ask you about it in detail. From that point the interview can deviate according to their interest.
