I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Jun 2016
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter at Hubspot about a web development position recently. It started off with a brief call with the recruiter about the position, then a short in-person meeting (not a formal interview), then a full-length in-person interview.
In the phone screen and first in-person meeting, there were no technical questions being asked, it was just to discuss experience and what the position was about and what the company is like. The people I met with were all extremely friendly and inviting! Good job everyone at Hubspot!
They invited me back for an actual interview about a week after the first meeting, and in the interview I talked to about 6 different people who I would be working with. I was asked a few technical CSS questions, and also asked to explain my process of developing new features as part of a website or software.
I loved the people and the office environment but they decided not to extend me an offer because they could tell I wasn't interested in the work, which is true, and I am okay with that. Good experience overall, I would recommend them.
