I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at HubSpot (Boston, MA) in Jan 2020
Interview
I had a coding challenge where I had to get json from their API, manipulate it, then post it back to the API. The json manipulation required knowledge of some date library as well as dictionary use.
Thanks for taking the time to write a review - I hope you found that the coding challenge mirrored what you would expect a real life technical challenge to be at HubSpot. While you didn't move forward in the process, I hope you found the experience valuable, and thanks for taking the time to go through it. Best of luck in your internship search!
Best,
Becky
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Mailand) in Oct 2019
Interview
This was the best interview process I have ever had to undertake. In less then 3 weeks from my application I had the final result. The interview process goes like this: first you apply online on their website, you then receive an online coding challenge. After you do it, you get a phone interview and in the end an onsite. Everyone is very chill and make you feel at ease even when being interviewd. I also loved that everyone was very open about not only the pros but also cons of the company (which are nothing compared to their amazing culture).
Furthermore, the recruiter was very open and prompt to answer all my questions.

Question 1
Behavioural questions about past experiences/projects.
Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review - I'm so glad our team was authentic and transparent with you every step of the way, and that you had a great line of communication with your recruiter. So glad you're joining us for your internship, can't wait for you to start with us!
Best,
Becky
Great initially, then disappointing. Right until the final round, the process was extremely smooth and Hubspot was very flexible with scheduling in person/video interviews. However, after my final round, I was supposed to receive an update within a week. I did receive an update - that they needed more time to decide. I communicated that I had another offer deadline, and my recruiter said I would definitely get a response by then. But I received no response and in fact, still have received no response (it's been nearly a month now).
