Very quick but many rounds. The interviewers were all very friendly and approachable (inclusive of both HR and hiring managers). It 1-2 rounds by HR following by 1-2 rounds by hiring team. Inclusive of a bring home task and task to do during interview.

Question 1
Tell me your thought process while going through the task
It is a 5 step interview process, with the 1st one being a phone screening, then a video call/interactive assignment, and then finally three 30 minute back to back interviews for the 3rd and final round.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot in Apr 2026

-Screening with recruiter
-Technical (live troubleshooting with a manager)
-Behavioral (3-30 minute interviews with managers)
The recruiter offers prep sessions before the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Take advantage of them as they’ll explicitly walk you through how to prepare.
Long hiring process; about 3 to 4 rounds in total. First was with HR for screening call. She was very friendly and professional. Good experience and she even gave me feedback post-interview to help me improve.
