The interviewers kept interrupting and didn’t give me enough time to explain my ideas. It felt like they were more interested in sticking to their list of questions than actually listening to what I had to say. When my approach didn’t match theirs, they were quick to argue instead of having a constructive discussion. It made the whole thing feel tense and unproductive. The coding round was pretty underwhelming too. They asked me to solve a really basic problem—merging two sorted lists. It’s something even an entry-level dev could handle. I explained my thinking out loud and covered all the edge cases, and they seemed impressed at the time. But in the feedback, I was told I didn’t ask enough questions, which was confusing. Given how simple the problem was, it wasn’t clear what else they expected me to ask beyond edge cases. Afterward, I reached out to get more detailed feedback, but the recruiter never got back to me. The whole thing felt like a waste of time, honestly. It wasn’t just the process that was frustrating—it made me realize I probably dodged a bullet by not moving forward with them. Hopefully, they take feedback seriously and improve the experience for future candidates.
