I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2019
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me , phone call with Recruiter who arranged a call with Hiring Manager which lead to role play with HM via phone.
The call with Recruiter was very brief although she was helpful. The first call with HM was rearranged last minute and then the HM no showed for the rearranged call. I had to follow up with the Recruiter every time after waiting for them to get back to me. Then when I finally had the call with the HM he was nice but seemed disinterested, lasted 10 mins (I was told it would last 30).
The role play also only last 15 mins and he barely asked me any questions about myself. I was asked to give feedback on my performance on the role-play which I did. Then I was not progressed based on the feedback I had given.
From start to finish I did not feel the HM had any interest in me as a candidate which I found odd since I had not applied, the Recruiter was the one who reached out to me.
When I asked to arrange a call with the Recruiter to get feedback (as I was regretted via email) she agreed to a call and never called me.
Slightly put off interviewing for this company again which is a pity as seems like a good company to work for perhaps there is a breakdown in internal communication, recruitment process definitely needs some work!

Phone Screen with Recruiter (off-camera)

Interview with another Manager (mock solution presentation)
Interview with your Sales Director (pretty easy, be human, we talked about fishing)
The two managers you get can make or break you getting in as some are tougher than others.

Super friendly people. Direct and they genuinely believe in adding strong people to their team. I had 2 rounds after which I was rejected.
It’s definitely a nice company to be at. They also encourage to keep trying.
