I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot in Apr 2023
Interview
I was originally reached out to by Kassandra on the recruitment team via LinkedIn. There was 1 phone screen interview with her, then a zoom meeting with the hiring manager. After that, I met with 4 different employees on different parts of the team. After that final round, I was sent an email that they were pursuing other candidates.
From start to finish, Kassandra was professional and extremely helpful. I was able to schedule each call with only one email, and I was given additional details on each interviewee to help me prepare for the call. The amount of resources that HubSpot provides is excellent and you should absolutely take advantage of them.
One comment I do have is that the job title changed multiple times throughout my interview process. I believe they were adjusting it to target the right candidates for the position, but it made the preparation process a little more confusing. I don't believe I showcased enough specific skills that ended up holding more weight, but might not have been apparent at first.
Each person at HubSpot that I had an interaction with was refreshing and I am confident that HubSpot has built something special over there with the culture. You will not regret applying. Best of luck!
