Interview
I applied online and in about an hour and thirty minutes I get a call to interview for their store the next day. When I went in they had me seated for about 20 mins later than scheduled. The manager interviewing was very unorganized and unprofessional. She looked like she takes the job like a joke and jokes around with coworkers like they are in high school by yelling obscenities at each other. After a while she asks me a bunch of typical interview questions then walks me to a room to fill a new application and says that they are very short handed so they will call me ASAP. She rushed off and didn't even say thanks or anything usually said after interviews.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Commack, NY) in Aug 2011
Interview
Quick, Simple, Short
Retail Job so nothing out of the ordinary
Was done in the break room of the store and was one on one but I've known a few people who did their interviews with other individuals at the same time
Only a few questions about how you would handle different scenarios and what schedule would best work with you.
