I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Ballwin, MO) in Jan 2013
Interview
Ran cash register. Processed merchandise as it came off truck. Processed returns. Answered guests questions. Helped customers find merchandise. Management asked questions about previous experience. There was also a test questionnaire about honesty. Background check was also performed. HomeGoods is a good place to work but they don't pay very much. Schedule is flexible.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Rogers, AR) in Feb 2012
Interview
When they first opened I applied. Perhaps the nature of the process it was quick. A lot of people found other jobs because the time between hiring and store prep took longer than they were prepared to wait. Communication was a problem it was selective and inconsistent, depending on who you were.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Knoxville, TN) in Sep 2016
Interview
Very easy, 10 question conversation. Some pertaining to the work and others about life lessons. Only lasted about 30 minutes. Nothing too serious was discussed or any questions that made you think too hard.
