I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Northbrook, IL) in Aug 2017
Interview
Very causual and straightforward interview that lasted about a half hour. I was offered a job after the very first interview. I started the week after that and worked there for a year.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Saint Peters, MO) in Oct 2019
Interview
I applied online to multiple stores in the area. The next day I received a phone call from my second preferred store. Days later I received a phone call my #1 pick. A couple of days later I received another phone call from my #1 pick. I then immediately called back and was asked when could I come in. [I was hesitant at first because I didn't want to over-commitment myself in working an additional job plus extra circulars too. But, I saw my #1 stores' 2nd call a sign that it was meant for me.] I said Friday and was then told to arrive anytime after 2:00 PM. Friday came and I arrived and had a short interview and was offered the job. And was provided additional details about the role. Note: This position does not deal with the cash register.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
Most applicants have to wait a bit for a scheduled interview as management was preoccupied with running the store. All interviews are held in the main office. The questions are simple and basic.
