I applied through other source. I interviewed at Google (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
I got though the initial phone screen and the first interview, but got rejected right after. However, I have to say, google has probably one of the best interview processes I have ever come across. The recruiters are very responsive and informative about what is to be excepted in the interview. They also allowed me to ask for feedback on why i was not selected and how i could improve my application for next time instead of sending out one of those noreply emails. I appreciate that about a company. And obviously its google, so it is the standard of all tech companies.

Interview
Phone interview with live coding interview questions via a Google doc. You must talk through your thought process and there is no syntax checker or running your code. The interviewer will keep asking questions until you either run out of time or get stumped.
Applied through an employee referral and it took a while to set up my two back to back interviews. Did those well I suppose, got asked a few questions about my resume and a total of 3 coding questions over the course of both interviews.
