Interview
It was an onsite interview with 5 interviess almost back-to-back. 45 mins each. The was a lunch break between the 3rd and 4th interview. Some dedicated to algorithm/coding, some dedicated to system design and some dedicated to leadership/behavior/personality.

Describe a situation where you were involved in a conflict and how did you resolve it.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
First a phone screen with an online coding question. If you pass the phone screen, you are scheduled for on site interview with about 5-6 engineers. All interviews are coding questions with one lunch break where you can interact with an employee.

There were 2 types of interviews.
The online interview Is the 1st. Then if you had passed that you would have to report to Google itself to do the face to face interview with Google’s chief management officer

Question 1
They would ask randomised questions. Hence it would be different for each person.
For me they asked me about this general knowledge question, “ you are going for Golf, you bring along 8 Golf balls with you. But then there is a one ball that is slightly heavier, but you couldn’t tell. You have a balance beam but could only do 2 weighings, how do you find which is the heavier ball?
