I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Google (Mumbai) in Sep 2024
Interview
The interview process at Google for the internship was intense but rewarding. I was among the top 20 candidates selected from my college.
Round 1: A friendly interviewer put me at ease. I was given a LeetCode medium-level DSA question, where I shared my approach step-by-step, starting from a brute-force solution to optimizing it. I made sure to communicate my thought process clearly.
Round 2: The final round was tougher. I was given a hard-level problem that took time to understand. Despite brainstorming multiple approaches, I struggled to find the optimal solution within the given time.
Though I didn’t secure the position, the experience was a great learning opportunity and a motivator to keep improving.
My interview for the Google SWE intern position was smooth and great. The questions were engaging, and I appreciated the opportunity to showcase my skills. I feel positive about the experience.
